David Ray Griffin informs forum participants that more and more scientists and academics are critical of the official version of what happened on September 11, 2001.
According to the Trondheim University Newspaper «Universitetsavisa» for Thursday, May 14th 2009, professor emeritus David Ray Griffin told an auditorium of students and lecturers at the NTNU Technical University in Trondheim, Norway that:
I’ve said before that I could not imagine that the Bush Administration was behind 9/11. Today I’ve changed my mind. I think that administration was cynical enough to do it. Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Richard Myers are the three key persons I think were behind this, Griffin said.
He went on to say:
Give me the power to grant people immunity from prosecution, and the opportunity to threaten people with prison, and I shall find the truth within weeks.
5.17.2009 – David Ray Griffin issues a clarification:
I’m glad that this story appeared. But as is often the case, the quotation was incorrect. I did not say that Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Myers were “the three key persons” behind 9/11. As always, I said that I did not try to answer the question as to who was ultimately responsible. What I said was that we could be pretty certain that these were three of the persons involved at the operational level, given the lies told about them as to where they were that morning ( as I documented in “9/11 Contradictions“).
David Ray Griffin was introduced by Emil Røyrvik Andrea, a senior fellow at the Sintef and the one who took the initiative to invite Griffin to this forum.
Dr. Griffin explains how the Twin Towers could not fallen together as they did without explosives.
